Google has opened SynthID Detector to everyone worldwide, making its AI-content verification tool broadly accessible.

The service scans images, videos and audio for invisible SynthID watermarks used by Google AI as well as partners including OpenAI, NVIDIA and Kakao. Google says SynthID has already been embedded in more than 180 billion images and videos, along with over 240,000 years of audio.
