WhatsApp launched Bill payments in India, letting people find, manage, and pay household bills inside the app.

Powered by the Bharat Connect (BBPS) network, it covers 22,722 billers across 30 categories including electricity, gas, water, FASTag, insurance, and credit cards. The rollout is gradual for Android and iOS users over the coming weeks.
