Google launched agentic video understanding across Gemini models.
Instead of a fixed frame rate, the model dynamically scans the frames, audio, and transcript it needs, cutting token use by up to 88% and analysis cost by up to 66% on long video. It is live via the Gemini API, Google AI Studio, and Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform on 3.7 Flash, 3.6 Flash, and 3.5 Flash-Lite.
Google donated its Longfellow Zero-Knowledge Proof (ZKP) library, open-sourced last year, to the Post-Quantum Cryptography Alliance under Linux Foundation Europe.
