The GSMA called on governments and regulators to make the entire upper 6GHz band available for mobile services to meet growing data demand.
The spectrum between 6.425GHz and 7.125GHz is intended to provide additional capacity for 5G-Advanced and future 6G networks. The GSMA said the equipment ecosystem is ready to support the band.
