Neuralink shared a short video showing a clinical trial participant with severe speech impairment delivering a message through synthesized speech.
Its VOICE study is investigating whether signals recorded by the N1 implant can turn intended speech into text or spoken output. Neuralink says the goal is to help people with severe speech disorders communicate at a more natural pace.
