Perplexity has begun using GPT‑6 Astra for end-to-end tasks including drafting communications, modifying software and monitoring production systems.
The model can generate testing programs that simulate responses from external services and evaluate complete application workflows. Perplexity says these tasks require less frequent human supervision than with earlier model generations.
