Samsung Research announced xMAE and HiMAE, two health foundation models for analyzing biosignals collected by wearable devices.
Trained on approximately 9,400 hours of ECG and PPG data, xMAE outperformed the compared methods in 15 of 19 evaluation tasks. HiMAE can produce on-device results in under one millisecond on a smartwatch-class processor.
