Rocket Lab formally challenged NASA’s decision to award Blue Origin the Mars Telecommunications Network contract, valued at up to $700 million.
The company asked the U.S. Government Accountability Office to review the award, alleging that NASA misapplied eligibility rules and unfairly evaluated its technical proposal. The network is designed to strengthen communications between Earth and future Mars missions.
