Brave says its latest desktop benchmarks on macOS showed 44% lower CPU usage, 10% lower energy consumption and 28% less memory use on average than Chrome, Edge and Firefox.
The browser also loaded pages 20% faster while reducing inbound data by 26% and outbound traffic by 39%. Brave attributes much of the efficiency gain to its built-in ad and tracker blocking, which cuts unnecessary network requests and processing overhead.
