Sweden’s Einride and Lidl have begun daily deliveries with a cab-less autonomous truck on a public road in Germany.
The vehicle transports goods between a Lidl distribution center and a store without a driver or safety operator on board. The Level 4 truck, which operates without a driver under defined conditions, runs under Germany’s first permit of its kind from the Federal Motor Transport Authority.
