Alibaba unveiled new high-performance AI chips and outlined plans to build substantially larger Qwen models as it expands its AI infrastructure.
The next-generation Qwen 4 is already in training, while future models are expected to scale to as many as 10 trillion parameters. Alibaba’s roadmap spans the full AI stack, from proprietary chips and cloud infrastructure to foundation models and autonomous agents.
