During the flyby, the astronauts captured more than 10,000 images and recorded real-time voice notes describing what they were seeing, giving scientists another layer of data to analyze alongside the imagery. The full collection of audio, annotations and images will be released on October 7, 2026, together with the preliminary Artemis II lunar science report.
