OpenAI introduced a new integration that lets healthcare organizations connect authorized Epic health records to ChatGPT for Healthcare.

The system can summarize patient histories, lab results and medication changes, while the Healthcare Public Data plugin provides access to nine official sources, including PubMed, DailyMed and ClinicalTrials.gov. The EHR integration is available to eligible organizational healthcare workspaces, not individual accounts.
