Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs established a new Cyber Security Policy Division in response to growing cyber threats.

The division will promote the rule of law and international rule-making in cyberspace, strengthen coordination with allies and support attack deterrence and cybersecurity capacity-building in partner countries.
