Google has expanded its AI & Economy Research Program with economists focused on how AI is reshaping jobs, productivity and economic growth.
Nobel laureate Philippe Aghion and Ajay Agrawal are joining the initiative, while Anu Madgavkar and Daniel Rock will serve as research directors. The program will study areas including global AI adoption, workforce changes and enterprise productivity using real-world data.
